Onyx

METACAM changed Onyx’s life. We think Onyx was sore from a young age, when she defended our property fiercely and hunted avidly. As a younger cat, she was not a particularly friendly or family-oriented, unlike her sister. Onyx was diagnosed with a very sore back, most likely osteoarthritis, at age 7 and was prescribed METACAM oral solution for cats. Over the following six months having METACAM daily with her evening meal, Onyx’s personality slowly changed, she became more vocal and social, interested in being around the family, even jumping up and settling on a knee in the evening purring loudly! Our family were so surprised when she started hunting mice again too. Onyx is now a loving member of our family. I feel bad and do wonder how long she had been horribly sore before I finally noticed and got her checked. We thought she was just a standoff-ish cat, but no, just sore and unhappy.
